The Facilities Management (FM) industry is seeing expansion and growth in Malaysia; nevertheless for the to elevate a new level of success, it must overcome various technological barriers that have slowed its adoption technology. purpose this research gain an understanding key technologies Malaysian market prioritising and, consequently, determine whether keeping pace with advancement. This study analysed significance ten (10) essential FM five (5) deployment areas specific focus on real estate commercial property sector FM. employed purposive sampling assemble expert panel, then used questionnaire five-point Likert scale conduct Delphi evaluate relative importance each technology implementation area. Each member panel was interviewed separately, survey distributed them. According findings, CMMS identified as most significant function data information management, maintenance operations whereas BAS energy management. In conclusion, demonstrated Malaysia concentrated legacy technology, hence emerging has not yet been considered due factors such untested use case, high risk return investment, complexity lack organisational support. implication shows still infancy stage; additional awareness, collaboration between academia industry, investment training, prospects efficiency productivity are required. While confined property, can be conducted other segments Malaysia, including healthcare education.
